INFORMATION / FAQ's....

Shop Hours & Appointments:
10:00 - 5:30 Tuesday - Saturday

We do require a minimum deposit of $80 to hold an appointment. You must have the $80 in order for us to make the appointment. This will be credited towards the cost of your tattoo.

Deposits are non-refundable if you do not call within 48 hrs prior to your appointment to reschedule or cancel.

This policy is a must to give the proper attention all our customers deserve.

DAYS WE WILL BE CLOSED IN 2010:

Custom Drawings:

Drawings are free, but we cannot guarantee how soon they can be done due to the fact that we are busy & have several drawings on the go as well.

Cost of Tattoos:
Tattoos start at a minimum charge of $80 & depending on the artist will be up to $160 per hour.

Size, intricacy of the design & placement on the body all have a factor in the final price. With a minimum cost of $80. With over 29 years of tattooing experience, you still get a great tattoo for a reasonable price.

The minimum charge for all artist (no matter how small the tattoo is) is due to the set up procedure (artist time), the sterilization of all equipment, electricity, and all materials used for the tattooing process.

In some cases a larger tattoo may have to be done in several sittings.

Each sitting is usually a maximum of 4 hours unless other arrangements have been made in advance.

Rough estimates can be given before drawings and appointments are set, but remember thay are only estimates!

Several things you can do prior to getting your tattoo:
1. No Alcohol 48 hrs. prior to appt.

2. Eat well prior to appt.

3. If you normally bleed allot when cut, eat Jello for a few days before and the day of getting your tattoo. Jello helps coagulate the blood, so you will bleed less.

4. Take a shower and be well rested.

If you follow these instructions getting a tattoo will be a lot easier on you.

Here at Native Arts Tat2, being DRUNK or STONED will not be tolerated, and you will be asked to leave.

Here are some facts:

I have read how tattoos are putting new populations at risk for the spread of dangerous blood-borne diseases. Anyone who doesn't understand tattooing or tattoos assume that tattoo shops are the breading grounds for diseases.

1.
There has not been any confirmed cases of anyone getting HIV/AIDS from a tattoo.[1]

2.
You are more likely to get HIV/AIDS from a syringe at a hospital than you are from getting a tattoo.

3.
You are more likely to get Hepatitis B from the dentist office than a tattoo shop.
The CDC (Center for Disease Control http://www.cdc.gov)
They also state that in the last 20 years, less than 1% of persons with newly acquired hepatitis C reported to CDC's sentinel surveillance system gave a history of being tattooed.[2] Does not say they got it from getting the tattoo.

4.
A tattoo artist is more at risk of getting any blood borne disease than anyone else. Not saying that every tattoo shop is professional but most of them are. Just like there are doctors who don't care about their patients, there are tattooists who do not care about their clients. MORE info on the Tattoo & Piercing Q & A pages.
